She completed her graduation from KIMS, Bangalore. She did her Diploma in Ophthalmology from Minto Institute, Bangalore. She completed her DNB from NN, Bangalore. Further, she did her FRCS from Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Glasgow. She did her fellowship in Glaucoma from Rajiv Gandhi University.
She has worked in various specialties of Ophthalmology during her tenure. She was elected as an Executive committee member and successfully completed two years serving as a scientific committee member in organizing annual BOS conferences. She worked as the Joint secretary at Bangalore Ophthalmic society.
She has published many articles in various national & international publications. She has presented at various state, national international conferences & won accolades for her work.
